Lafayette Personal Injury Attorney Gives Back to the Community With Annual Law Firm Scholarship

Blaine Barrilleaux has been helping clients in Lafayette, LA, with personal injury and car accident cases for over 25 years. He’s a trusted attorney who sticks by clients at every step of a claims process and fights to get them just compensation for injuries.

But more than that, he’s a well-known figure in the area who believes that stronger communities lead to brighter futures for everyone. That’s why he goes out of his way to give back to his hometown every chance he gets, including offering an annual law firm scholarship to graduating high school seniors.

There are indeed good people out there, helping other good people. Scott Brazda

Blaine is Featured on KATC TV’s Spirit of Acadiana

As most Lafayette longtime residents will know, KATC TV’s Spirit of Acadiana series has been highlighting acts of kindness in the Acadiana area for over 25 years. Blaine was recently featured on the series after he surprised a Bon Temps Grill waitress during the holiday season with a $1,000 tip.

Allison Blessman is known by colleagues for her impressive work ethic and cheerful personality even in the face of adversity, making her a perfect candidate for the series, and Blaine was happy to help.

The heartwarming video shows that Allison waited on Blaine as usual, assuming he was just another customer. But at the end of his meal, Blaine surprises the waitress by handing her a card full of cash, bringing her to tears.

The mother of three said that she plans to spend the money catching up on a bill, paying rent, and buying Christmas presents for her children.
