Brandon Wallace

Brandon Wallace was born and raised in Lafayette and graduated from Lafayette High before earning a degree in Political Science, with a minor in music, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In 2005, he earned a Juris Doctor degree and Bachelor of Civil Law from LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center before passing the Bar Exam that summer.  Brandon is licensed to practice in Louisiana State and Federal courts.

Before joining the Law Offices of Blaine Barrilleaux, Brandon spent the first 18 years of his career on the defense side of personal injury lawsuits, including 15 years as in-house counsel for the nation’s largest home and auto insurer. Nearly 2 decades of working as a defense attorney gave Brandon a unique understanding of how insurance companies look at cases. Now, he uses that experience to effectively present our injured clients’ claims to insurance companies and courts so that we can obtain a fair settlement or trial verdict.

Outside of the office, Brandon enjoys attending stand-up comedy shows, watching Ragin’ Cajuns softball, and volunteering to support arts education through the Lafayette High Band and Wonderland Performing Arts. Professionally, he is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and Lafayette Bar Association and serves as a Hearing Committee Chairman for the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board.
